- 8 oz (225 g) macaroni (uncooked) - 2 cans Canned Tuna Fish, approx. 5 oz (142 g) each, drained - 4 large Yellow Onion, approx. 8 oz (225 g) each, tops removed and centers hollowed - 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 cup (60 g) Breadcrumbs
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Reserve hollowed onion shells. 2. In a bowl, combine cooked macaroni, drained canned tuna, and shredded Cheddar Cheese. Fill each hollowed Yellow Onion with the tuna-macaroni mixture, packing gently. 3. Top each stuffed onion with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs. Place stuffed onions in a baking dish and bake for 30–35 minutes until onions are tender and breadcrumb topping is golden. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
